Meet Loree Cardenas: IFI’s New Nurse Manager
Welcome to the IFI Team!
We’re excited to welcome Loree Cardenas to the Indiana Fertility Institute (IFI) team as our new Nurse Manager! Loree’s journey into nursing began after a life-changing experience—the birth of her first child. “I was blown away by the care and respect my labor and delivery nurses gave me,” she recalls. “I have always had a passion for helping and caring for others and felt called to healthcare after that experience. It was no doubt one of the best decisions of my life.”
That passion for patient care is what makes Loree such a perfect fit for IFI. “I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of a team that guides patients through their fertility journey with compassion, support, and cutting-edge treatments to help achieve their dream of starting a family!” In her role as Nurse Manager, Loree will oversee clinical staff and nursing care activities, ensure compliance with quality standards, update protocols and policies, and step in to assist with patient care whenever needed.
Loree understands that starting fertility treatment can often feel overwhelming for many patients. Her advice? “You are not alone. Many individuals struggle with infertility, and education and knowledge are very beneficial to help alleviate any anxiety or stress around fertility treatment options.”
Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Loree brings the same warmth and energy to her personal life. Originally from Southern California, she moved to Indiana after high school and fell in love with the Midwest charm. “Most people are shocked when I tell them I moved from California to Indiana, but I love it. My favorite part of Indiana is the true change of seasons!” When she’s not at IFI, you’ll find her spending weekends with her family—cooking, playing card games, cheering on IU and Michigan football (go Colts and go Packers as well!), or watching her kids play the sports they love.

Loree also has a few favorite local spots she recommends: “If you are ever in Indy, you have to try the famous shrimp cocktail at St. Elmo's. It's a family favorite for my family. We also love Jockamo's Pizza for their very unique and delicious pizzas. The Lunatic is my favorite pizza there.” She also loves tackling challenging puzzles in her spare time.
