Retiring Tanks After 10 Years
Unlike the standard practice of using cryo tanks for up to 30 years, IFI retires our tanks after just 10 years. This proactive approach minimizes the potential for equipment failure, ensuring that our storage systems remain in optimal condition.
Dual-System Monitoring
To safeguard your tissues, IFI employs a dual monitoring system that includes both internal and external temperature checks on cryo tanks. This layered security ensures any temperature changes are detected early, preventing any risk to your stored materials.
Round-the-Clock Monitoring and Central Oversight
At IFI, we utilize 24/7 continuous monitoring, ensuring immediate response to any equipment issues. We also benefit from the Central Monitoring Command Center (CMCC), which provides additional surveillance across all Prelude Network facilities, ensuring the integrity of our systems.
CEO-Level Alerts
In the rare event of a temperature anomaly, our system alerts not only the lab staff but also directly notifies our CEO. This adds an extra level of oversight and guarantees rapid response from both our team and leadership.
Enhanced Safety Features
IFI uses cutting-edge technologies to protect your cryopreserved tissues, including PharmaWatch™ for internal temperature tracking, CryoSentinel for external video monitoring, and Azenta (Abeyance) cryo storage tanks with onboard alarms for additional security.
